Folly Beach & The Sea Cookie....What a name & what a place. If looking for something off the beat and path and you want to bring along your family pet, feel free...since Folly Beach is a complete feel free kind of place. My family has been coming to Folly Beach for the past 7 years and the day we leave, we can not wait to come back. We live in Pittsburgh and when the hurricane hit in 2016, my wife stayed up all night watching the weather channel to make sure Folly Beach did not get hurt. It was really funny to see that Bert's really does open 24 hours and offered ice to anyone still on the island for free. When we retire in a few years, this is where we intend to go. Up & Down the coast of South Carolina, there is no better place. You walk everywhere, you relax and the people are all friendly. One favorite spot is the Drop In. Great Food & Great People. Folly Beach is one of the best kept secrets on the east coast and we sure hope we get there before everyone else finds out about it.

Our rental was in a great location right on the beach. We were on the second floor with a nice breeze and good view. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and using the boardwalk to the beach. I would have given this 5 stars except that the central air conditioning was not working when we arrived. A portable air conditioner was set up but it was noisy and not of adequate capacity.
Our family keeps coming back!! We love, love, love our vacations through Dunes Properties. It's just perfect for our family. Boardwalk Bliss at Wild Dunes Resort is perfect for our grandchildren to enjoy the beach and the 2 Grand Pavilion pools, basketball, bike riding, woof-a-ball on the grass and the beach, and a short drive to historic Charleston at night. This will be our fourth year booking through Dunes Properties. Perfect!!
