They cancelled our rental, two weeks before our wedding honeymoon. It was a holiday weekend and they told us to simply pound sand when we asked for help with a replacement.
Such a positive atmosphere, and felt very taken care of.
Vacation Rental- My family and I rented a large house on W. Ashley in early June. The location is great with easy access to the beach, but the house was not great. By Tuesday of our stay we had given Dunes Properties a two page list of items that were broken or not properly maintained, including the septic system, which had to be pumped out during our stay. The basement had lights on at night and we could see a bare mattress in the middle of the floor. The swimming pool was not as advertised and didn't even have a skimmer to remove the debris. It was not what I expected for the premium price we paid. In the end Dunes Properties agreed to make an adjustment in the price, but this does not make up for their lack of attention to the maintenance of a rental property that was under their management.
