Absolutly love this beach!! Love that it goes around the tip into the river. Fishing was awesome
It is nice that it has a bathroom in the spring and summer seasons. And the showers are a big plus. But it has few other facilities besides a very lovely beach. Bring your own drinks and snacks because there is no vending or stores on that end of Folly. If you pick the right tide time, you can find some good shells and on occasion a couple of sharks teeth. And once a month there is the full moon drum circle in the evening. I have been 3 times and each has been magical in some way!!
I love visiting this park in the winter. The birds, the driftwood, the ocean. All lovely, and often I'm the only person there.
Beautiful area. Much more quiet than the pier section of the beach. Lots of parking. They have an area you can rent for parties also.
This is a great place to enjoy Folly Beach. We were not there in peak so parking was a breeze. I was able to see my truck from our spot on the beach. Will definitely use this park when visiting this area.
