Folly Beach is a neat place with a lot of fun things to do. The stores on the strip are redundant though. And a lot of the people are rude and despise tourists. I cruised through town slowly, checking out the sights, only to be honked at and screamed at and flashed lights at and threatened for apparently trying to enjoy myself and take it easy on vacation. When walking the strip, pedestrians have the right away. But I was nearly creamed twice by speeding motorists. I find it to be a slice of the North in the South. No hospitality here.
